This past week was a great week for me. The Jets came from behind and won in the final seconds and I won 2 out of 3 fantasy games. Going into Monday night I thought I was going to have a perfect week. I had already won my other 2 games and I was up by 24 points in the one league where my opponent had a Running Back and a Kicker still to go. I knew it was going to be close but at halftime of that game I thought I was going to win because I was still up by 15 points. I went to bed only to wake up the next morning to have lost by 4 points. Oh well, it was still a great week but I am waiting for that perfect week.

Week 5: Ups and Downs
This week my teams went 1-2, however the Jets got another victory bringing their record to 4-1. Like I said in previous weeks, my number 1 concern is the New York Jets. They played Monday night and beat the Minnesota Vikings in a thrilling game. My fantasy teams didn’t fair as well. I lost in two of my leagues and won in another. The only reason I won in the one league was because the person I was playing against for got to change their line up and they left people in their starting line up that were hurt and did not play in their NFL game. Sometimes it is skill and sometimes it is luck. That win was due to the ignorance of my opponent. Hope week 6 goes better!

Week 4: Monday Night Surprise
Sunday was a great day for me. The JETS won, I finalized wins in 2 of my leagues, and I was ahead in my 3rd league going into the Monday night game. I was well on my way of having a perfect football week. Going into the Monday night Dolphins vs. Patriots game, I still had Tom Brady and the Dolphins defense left to play. My opponent had the Patriots defense but I was also up by 10 points. This is what I call an almost sure thing. “Almost” being the key word. If you ask any fantasy expert they would say that I had this game locked. Then the amazing happened. The Patriots defense scored 3 touch downs, had 4 interceptions, and sacked the QB a few times. This gave the Patriots defense 32 fantasy points. Because the Patriots D did such a great job, Tom Brady really did not need to throw a lot of passes, hence, he did not score a lot of fantasy points. Finally, the Dolphins defense did nothing giving me only 2 points. The final out come of the game was that I lost by 10 points. I guess there is never a sure thing in fantasy football.
Fantasy Tip of the week: Now that the weather is getting colder and the weather is not always nice, make sure you check the weather on game day. Rain, snow, and mostly wind can make a huge difference in your player’s performance. Stay away from starting players who will face these harsh conditions.
